Jackson, MS- The Belhaven Volleyball team took on Loyola University Tuesday night at Rugg Arena in their second Southern States Athletic Conference game of the year. The Blazers were defeated by the Wolfpack in five sets with final scores of 25-23, 19-25, 15-25, 26-24, and 12-15. The loss brings the Blazers record to 8-7 on the season with a 0-2 record in conference play.

The Blazers were led on Tuesday night by Christina Jaques with 14 kills, eight blocks, and two block assists. Leigh Anne Huddleston turned in 12 kills followed by Taylor Williams with 11 kills and also tallied 19 digs. Serita Ingram scooped up 19 digs followed by Katherine Owen and Gabriella Zorzoli who both had 14. Erin Bradley added 13 digs while rounding the night off with 45 assists. As a team the Blazers had 47 kills while scooping up 99 digs on the night.
