Jackson, MS-The Belhaven women's and men's tennis teams opened the season with convincing wins over Co-Lin, Holmes, and Tougaloo. However both teams fell to West Alabama.

On the women's side, the Belhaven match results consisted of wins against the Co-Lin Wolves 3-2, Holmes Bulldogs 8-1, and Tougaloo Bulldogs 7-2. The Blazers fell to West Alabama 0-6. On the men's side, Belhaven defeated Co-Lin 3-1, Holmes 9-0, and Tougaloo 7-2. However, the Blazers fell to West Alabama 7-0.

The Blazers take the court again on Saturday morning at Xavier University beginning at 10 AM.
