Box Score vs Rhodes        Box Score vs Piedmont
Jackson, MS-The Lady Blazers ran into some stiff competition Saturday when they faced Rhodes College and Piedmont College in the Third Annual Millsaps College Volleyball Invitational.

 

Belhaven went back and forth with Rhodes College, but eventually topped the Lady Lynx in a five game first match 25-21, 20-25, 26-24, 24-26, and 15-12. In the second match of the day against Piedmont, the Lady Blazers fell short in three games to the Lady Lions by the final scores of 21-25, 24-26, and 15-25.

 

In the match against Rhodes, the Lady Blazers were led by sophomore Christina Atwood with 15 kills and freshmen setter Erin Bradley had 48 assists and 27 digs. Sam O'Malley added six aces while Christina Jacques and Christina Atwood each supplied three block assists. Jacques, Atwood, and Williams each added in one solo block in the match.

 

In the second match against the Lady Lions, Atwood once again led Belhaven with 10 kills and Erin Bradley added 26 assists, one solo block, and 14 digs. O'Malley, Atwood each added one solo block and one block assist. Taylor Williams and Christina Jacques both had one assist block.
