New Orleans, LA-The Belhaven volleyball team ran into another tough opponent Tuesday night losing to the Wolfpack of Loyola University 12-25, 8-25,  and 16-25 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action. Loyola is off to one of the best starts in the programs history going 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the GCAC to start the year. The Lady Blazers are going through some growing pains with a team loaded with freshman and only two seniors. However, the court experience the players are gaining will hopefully payoff down the road.

                                                                                                                       

Offensively, Belhaven was led by Kelsey Stack with nine assists and an ace while Kourtney Clark contributed five kills. Christina Atwood had a good night defensively with nine digs and five blocks.

 
Belhaven is now 4-16 overall and 0-4 in the GCAC and will try to regroup this weekend at the Faulkner Invitational when they take on Webber International University and Martin Methodist College. The first match is set to get underway at 5 PM.
