Jackson, MS-The Belhaven volleyball team earned it's first Gulf Coast Athletic Conference victory defeating Dillard University Thursday night 17-25, 25-13, 25-23, 18-25, and 15-8. The Lady Blazers are now 9-20 overall and 1-5 in the GCAC. Dillard falls to 4-12 overall and the Lady Blue Devils are also 1-5 in conference play.

 

Kelsey Stack led the Belhaven offense with 34 assists and Erinn Hampton pounded 13 kills. Stack was also active on defense digging out 18 Dillard attacks. Jessica Davis added two solo and six block assists to help the Lady Blazer defense. Christina Atwood, Hampton, Stack, and Melissa Skopal each had an ace in Thursday's win.
