Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's Cellular South Athletes of the Week is Brandt Hinton of the Belhaven baseball team. Hinton, a senior pitcher from Brookhaven, MS, had a no decision in the Blazers 3-2 victory over LSU-Shreveport in game two of their recent GCAC series with the Pilots. Hinton allowed only one unearned run and four hits in eight innings of work against LSUS who is one of the best hitting teams in the country. Hinton also posted six strikeouts and only two walks.
