Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's C-Spire Athletes of the Week is Daryl Armold of the men's basketball team. Arnold had a pair of clutch performances helping lead Belhaven to two more Southern States Athletic Conference victories. Arnold made over 50 percent of his field goal attempts and played well defensively picking up nine steals combined in the two contests. Arnold is Belhaven's leading scorer this season averaging 14.8 points per game. He is second on the team in rebounding pulling down 5.7 boards per contest. Arnold also was chosen as the SSAC Player of the Week.
