This week's Blazer C Spire Athlete of the Week is Ginger Lonergan of the softball team. Lonergan, a senior pitcher from New Orleans, La., picked up four wins in the circle this past leading the Blazers to a 12-2 record to start the year. Longeran struck out 14 batters and gave up just two earned in six total games that covered 24.1 innings. Lonergan is 5-0 with a 1.00 ERA so far in 2014.
