Pace, a freshman from Sherman, TX, was named softball player of the week compiling a .650 batting average for the week along with a 1.300 slugging percentage in five games. Pace went 13 for 20 at the plate with two home runs, seven doubles, 18 RBI’s and nine runs scored. In Belhaven’s 21-2 victory over William Woods University, Pace set a new NAIA record for most RBI’s in a game with 11.
