Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's Cellular South Athletes of the Week is Gautier Troch of the Belhaven men's soccer team. Troch, a senior goalie from Paris, France, made eight saves to help preserve a 1-1 double overtime tie against 11th ranked Mobile last week. On the season, Troch owns an overall record of 11-1-1 including six shutouts. Troch has made 48 saves on the season and has allowed only seven goals in the 13 games that he has played. Troch was also named the Southern States Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. It was the third time he has received the honor this year.
