This week's C Spire Blazer Athlete of the Week is Nicole Walsh of the women's soccer team. Walsh, a sophomore goalkeeper from Huntington Beach, CA, played all 180 minutes during the two matches and in the process made 10 saves. Eight of those saves came against Northwood on Saturday. Walsh has made 32 saves on the year and has allowed only six goals in five matches so far in 2012. Walsh was also named the Southern States Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
