Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's "Cellular South Athletes of the Week" is Sarah Burns of the softball team. Burns, a senior pitcher from Edmond, OK, led the Blazers to a pair of key SSAC victories over Auburn University-Montgomery last week. On the season, Burns is 22-5 with a 1.26 ERA. She has recorded 171 strikeouts in 160.2 innings pitched in 2011.
