Jackson, MS-Head Coach Hill Denson and the Belhaven baseball program would like to announce the signing of infielder Emilio DeSilva for the 2012 season. 

DeSilva, a native of Plantation, FL, prepped at Calvary Christian Academy where he hit .455 with two home runs, nine doubles, drove in 14 runs, and was 7 for 9 in stolen base attempts. “Emilio is a solid player that can play a lot of positions,” says Coach Denson. “He can really hit and will hopefully contribute early for us. He has been very successful in a very tough HS league in Florida. I am sure that he will have no problem adjusting to the college game.”

Belhaven University is a member of the NAIA, Southern States Athletic Conference and Mid-South Conference and sponsors 13 intercollegiate sports. Belhaven is an institution that focuses on preparing students academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus.
