Norcross, GA- Belhaven goalkeeper Gautier Troch was selected as the OnePath Systems Southern States Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in matches during the week of September 12th through the 19th. It is the second time this season that Troch has been selected for this award.

Troch, a senior from Paris, France, added three more wins to his in goal record this week including a 2-0 shutout of third ranked Embry Riddle University where he made five saves in 90 minutes of work. He also held Lambuth University off the board for 109 minutes to secure a 1-0 double overtime win for the Blazers. Troch has 31 saves and six shutouts in 2010 and has surrendered just two goals in nine games played this season.

The Blazers, ranked 17th in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll will be back in action on Tuesday when they battle Millsaps College in “The Bowl” on campus starting at 4:30 PM.
