Jackson, MS-Over 330 student-athletes, coaches and Athletics staff participated in the bi-annual Athletics Gathering Thursday, August 19, in Rugg Arena. This event brings together Belhaven student-athletes from all 13 sports to launch the year as a Department. The agenda includes a student-athlete panel, a overview of Athletics expectations and policies, and a celebration of the 2009-10 athletic year achievements.

The student-athlete panel was comprised of the following upperclassmen: Bobby Grier, Rachel Wright, Jose Robles, Rachel Earnhart, Barry Johnson, Christina Jaques, Rachenia Powell, Trey Woods, Kimber Dear and Lake Eiland.
