Jackson, MS-Head Coach Hill Denson and the Belhaven baseball program would like to announce the signing of infielder Jordan Brewer for the 2010 season.

                                              

Brewer, a native of Vidalia, LA, comes to Belhaven after having played at Holmes Community College in 2009. Brewer compiled a .300 batting average and played every position in the field with the exception of first base during his career at Holmes. Brewer played high school baseball at Vidalia High School.

                                                         

"We are excited to have Jordan on our club. He is a good athlete that can play a lot of different positions” says Coach Denson. “He really knows the game and could help us at a lot of different spots on the field. We are going to work him at third base a little this fall and go from there. Hopefully he will contribute somewhere, he is a good player."
