Meadows Earns 2nd Consecutive GCAC Softball Player of the Week Honors

Jackson, MS-Belhaven senior Mallory Meadows was recently named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the week for the second consecutive week for her efforts in games played between April 6th and April 12th.
                                         
Meadows, a native of Daphne, Al, had a batting average of .550 with a slugging percentage of 1.100 with 11 hits in 20 at bats during the week. Meadows had an outstanding week at the plate driving in a total of 10 runs and had three home runs giving her 16 on the year. Meadows home run mark set a new Belhaven record for most home runs in a season.
 
Belhaven returns to action on Wednesday at home versus NCAA Division I Jackson State University, entertains Spring Hill College on Thursday, and will play at LSU-Alexandria on Saturday afternoon. Wednesday's contest with Jackson State is slated to get underway at 3 PM.
