Jackson, MS-Belhaven senior
Mallory Meadows was recently named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the week for the second consecutive week for her efforts in games played between April 6
th and April 12
th.
Meadows, a native of Daphne, Al, had a batting average of .550 with a slugging percentage of 1.100 with 11 hits in 20 at bats during the week. Meadows had an outstanding week at the plate driving in a total of 10 runs and had three home runs giving her 16 on the year. Meadows home run mark set a new Belhaven record for most home runs in a season.
Belhaven returns to action on Wednesday at home versus NCAA Division I Jackson State University, entertains Spring Hill College on Thursday, and will play at LSU-Alexandria on Saturday afternoon. Wednesday's contest with Jackson State is slated to get underway at 3 PM.
