Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven baseball team garnered votes in the 2010 NAIA Baseball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll when the rankings were recently announced by the NAIA.

Belhaven finished the 2009 campaign with an overall record of 43-20 and made it to the championship game of the 2009 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round against Lee University in Cleveland Tennessee. Belhaven also claimed the 2009 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. GCAC rivals William Carey University and LSU-Shreveport were ranked 14th and 18th respectively.

Belhaven will open the regular season at home on January 29th at 3:00 PM in game one of a three game GCAC series with the University of Mobile at Smith Wills Stadium. The official NAIA press release and complete Top 25 Poll can be viewed by clicking here.
