Roche’ Named to Pre-Season All GCAC Team

Hattiesburg, MS-Junior forward Nathaniel Roche' of the Belhaven men's basketball team was selected to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Pre-Season All Conference team when the announcement was recently made by the GCAC.

Roche', a native of New Orleans, LA, was a GCAC All Conference pick in 2008-09 after averaging 14.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game last season. Roche' made a big impact on the team after joining the Blazers in January.

The Blazers will open the 2009-10 campaign on Saturday when they travel to Wesley College for a non-conference matchup with the Warriors. The tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM. The official GCAC press release can be viewed by clicking here.
