Make All-Region XIII Team
Joel Thornton Orange Beach, Ala.,
Two Belhaven College Softball Players
were selected to the 2008 All Region XIII Team on. Lauren Biediger,
and Mallory Meadows were
selected for this year's honor as they led the Region in homeruns
(14) and hits (Biediger 62, & Meadows 64).
Lady Blazers' Season Ends

The Belhaven Blazers Baseball Team's
(41-17, 23-10) season came to an end this afternoon with
a 1-3 loss to the Southern Polytechnic State University
Hornets. The Blazers finish the season with a record of
41-17 and a 23-10 conference mark.

Advance in Region Tourney
Joel Thornton Orange Beach, Ala., The Belhaven College Softball Team (31-25, 6-6) extended their 2008 season by defeating Lee University in a elimination game at the Region XIII Tournament. The Lady Blazers won by a score of 3-2.

2 Blazers Earn 2008
Region XIII/Rawlings Gold Gloves

Region XIII Tournament

The Belhaven Blazers Baseball Team
(41-16, 23-10) lost their opening round game in the 2008
Region XIII Tournament to #3 lee University by a score
of 0-15. Often in baseball a team will have everything
go their way in a victory, Tuesday night was one of
those rare occurrences where the Blazers were not able
to get anything to go their way, and Lee University seem
to have everything go their way.
