Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven men's basketball team arrived in Kansas City on Monday afternoon as they get set for the 2010 Buffalo Funds NAIA Division I National Tournament. The Blazers will battle Biola University in the opening round contest Wednesday night at 10:30 PM.

Jackson, MS-The Belhaven baseball team completed a three game Gulf Coast Athletic Conference series sweep at Tougaloo on Saturday afternoon winning both games of a doubleheader at Bulldog Field. The Blazers took game one 8-2 in seven innings and recorded a 13-4 victory in the nine inning night cap. Belhaven opened the series with a 9-6 win over the Bulldogs on Friday afternoon.

Gulf Shores, AL-The Belhaven softball team posted two wins on day two of the Gulf Coast Invitational Saturday afternoon in Orange Beach Alabama. The Blazers opened the day with an 8-3 win over Thomas University before falling to 10th ranked St. Gregory's University 1-0 in game two. Belhaven played hard against a St. Gregory's team that was the 2009 NAIA National Tournament runner up. The Blazers then rebounded with an 8-1 victory against Trevecca Nazarene University in their final game of the day running their overall record to 20-3. Belhaven now has 108 stolen bases as a team this season setting a new school single season record for steals in a year.

Jackson, MS-It wasn’t pretty on Friday afternoon, but the Belhaven baseball team came away with a 9-6 victory at Tougaloo in game one of a three game Gulf Coast Athletic Conference series with the Bulldogs. The Blazers committed three errors, but took advantage of two Tougaloo miscues to help pull out the victory.
