Tristan Pearson enters his first season on the Belhaven Baseball staff after an accomplished playing career with the Blazers. Pearson joins as a Graduate Assistant under Head Coach Patrick Robey.
Pearson's playing career was one that paralleled a successful stretch for the Belhaven program. The Biloxi native helped lead Belhaven to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025 which culminated in a first ever NCAA Regional victory and first Super Regional appearance.
Across his two years with the Blazers, Pearson pulled in multiple conference and national recognitions for his performances. Pearson was named to the ABCA Rawlings All-Region Second Team in 2025 while also earning an All-CCS Second Team nod. The season prior, Pearson also earned All-Conference recognition being named to the league's First Team.
Pearson finishes his Belhaven career as the program's joint-all-time HBP leader with 40 across just two seasons of action. One of the best on-base percentage hitters in the country, Pearson also earned the team's 'Anchor Award' in 2024 and 2025 as the team-leader in hit-by-pitches.
Prior to playing at Belhaven, Pearson spent two seasons at Jones College. A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, Pearson played his prep baseball at Biloxi High School and was a 6A All-Star selection in 2020.
