Thomas Blake enters his first season as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Belhaven University, returning to a program where he previously competed as a student-athlete.

A native of Fulton, Mississippi, Blake joins Belhaven after serving at East Central Community College, where he was part of a staff that earned Men's Staff of the Year honors in 2025. During his time there, he contributed to the development of both men's and women's programs, bringing energy and a detail-oriented approach to training, recruitment, and player development.

Prior to East Central, Blake was the Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach at DeSoto Central High School in Southaven, Mississippi, and previously held the same role at Caledonia High School. His coaching background also includes experience with several competitive club programs, including Jackson Futbol Club, Tupelo Futbol Club, and Lobos Rush Soccer Club, along with the Mississippi Olympic Development Program demonstrating his ability to work across multiple levels of the game.

Blake's playing career includes time at Itawamba Community College before transferring to Belhaven University, where he completed his final two seasons as a goalkeeper. While at Belhaven, he earned NCCAA All-Region Division I honors. Following his collegiate career, he played one season with Mississippi Brilla FC in USL League Two.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in History from Belhaven University in 2019 and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2024. Blake currently holds his D License from the United States Soccer Federation.
