Sean Lynch enters his first full year with Belhaven Athletics after being named the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications in September, 2025.
Lynch began his career at Herkimer College, where he earned his Associate's Degree in 2021 while serving as a part-time staff member in its athletic department. He went on to Arizona State University, working as a Media Relations Intern during the 2022-23 academic year. While with the Sun Devils, Lynch worked with several of their high-profile programs, including football, volleyball, men's basketball, baseball and men's golf. He graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication in 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Journalism.
Following his time at Arizona State, Lynch returned to Herkimer College in 2023 as the Coordinator of Physical Education & Athletics. In that role, he managed the athletic website, oversaw social media content for each program and directed game management & multimedia student-workers. Lynch also served as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Herkimer, helping guide the Generals to consecutive NJCAA Division III National Championship appearances. Over his two seasons on staff, Herkimer posted a 55-8 record. In his short time on staff, he coached three NJCAA All-Americans.
A native of Campbell Hall, New York, Lynch currently resides in Jackson, Mississippi.
