Eli Britt enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant for Strength & Conditioning at Belhaven University in 2025. In his role, Britt is responsible for designing and implementing training programs for multiple Blazer teams, including football, baseball, track & field, women's basketball, golf and men's soccer.
A native of Petal, Mississippi, Britt began his collegiate playing career as a utility player at Meridian Community College under head coach Dillon Sudduth from 2021-23. During his time with the Eagles, Britt had a .742 winning percentage and earned Dean's List honors in consecutive years.Â
He continued his career at Belhaven, playing outfield under head coach Andrew Gipson. Britt appeared in 38 games with the Blazers, recording 25 hits and 27 RBI. He delivered in key moments including two home runs in the 2024 CCS Conference Tournament to help the Blazers reach the semifinals. His standout performance came against Millsaps on March 26, 2024, when he went 4-for-5 with two doubles, five runs, six RBI, a walk and two stolen bases. Britt always stepped up against the rival Majors, owning a career .400 average with eight runs scored and six stolen bases.
In 2025, Britt was part of history as a member of the first Belhaven team to reach the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship Tournament, advancing to the Super Regional round and finishing with the program's best overall record since 2011. He hit .333 with a .500 on-base percentage during the campaign and was named to the 2025 CCS All-Tournament Team. Britt earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine: Exercise Science from Belhaven that same year and immediately transitioned into his current graduate assistant role.
Away from the field, Britt enjoys lifting, fishing, building Legos and making exercise fun for the student-athletes he trains. His favorite memory as a Blazer is winning the Webster Regional in 2025 and celebrating in a dogpile with his teammates.
