Belhaven University Athletics

Angela Brock is in her ninth year at Belhaven and her fourth year with the Blazers' Athletic Department where she serves as Assistant to the Vice President and Director of Athletics.

Originally a native of Meridian, Mississippi, Angela is a 1994 graduate of Murrah High School in Jackson. Following her time at Murrah, Angela attended Holmes Community College in Ridgeland before attending the University of Southern Mississippi.

She spent a number of years as a volunteer with the Boys Scouts of America and received the Wood Badge award in 2012. Wood Badge is the highest and most advanced training course offered by the Boy Scouts of America. While it is rich in scouting history and tradition, participants will spend six full days and nights learning modern leadership theories from contemporary scholar as Ken Blanchard (author of the One Minute Manager series of books), Stephen R. Covey (author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Principle-Centered Leadership), and Spencer Johnson (author of Who Moved My Cheese).

Angela is married with two boys and resides in Brandon, Mississippi.
