Justin Dee is in his ninth season as Head Volleyball coach at Belhaven.
Throughout his tenure, Dee has seen the Blazers have tremendous success on and off the court. The Blazers have earned 67 wins throughout Dee's tenure, in addition he has coached seven NCCAA Mideast All-Region athletes, three NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honorees, ten ASC All-Conference honorees, two ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honorees, one ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipient, and 39 Conference All-Academic winners. Under his direction, the Blazers earned the SSAC Team Sportsmanship Award in 2014 and the ASC Team Sportsmanship Award for three consecutive years from 2016-18.Â
Entering his 14th season as a collegiate Head Volleyball coach, Dee has totaled 187 career wins.Â
Dee spent the 2012 season at Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Fla. where his team was a semifinalist in the 7A Florida playoffs.
Prior to arriving at Buchholz High School, Dee coached at Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Ala, leading the team to second and third place finishes in the state playoffs. Dee was named the 2009 Birmingham News Coach of the Year.
Dee is no stranger to the collegiate game, having spent time at Lyon College (AR) and Simpson College (CA). Dee coached at Lyon from 2004 through the 2007 and led the Scots to their first ever NAIA Regional Tournament berth.
During his stint at Simpson, Dee was twice named NCCAA West Region Coach of the Year and posted third and fifth place finishes in the NCCAA Nationals.
