Sarah Chastain is entering her first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Belhaven Women's Soccer program.
Chastain begins her coaching career after playing two seasons as a defender for the Blazers' program. During her time with the Blazers, Chastain started every match and led the team in minutes played in both the 2019 and 2020-21 seasons while helping lead Belhaven to postseason competition in both years. Chastain, a team captain during her senior year, was named to the ASC All-Conference Second Team in 2020-21 and received the program's best defensive player award both seasons as a Blazer.
Prior to her time with the Blazers, Chastain competed at Holmes Community College where she was a captain for the Bulldogs. Chastain was named the program's Most Valuable Player in the 2018 season.
Chastain graduated from Belhaven University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Belhaven.
Chastain also serves as an Assistant Coach at Brandon Futbol Club.
