Keri O'Neal

Keri O'Neal is in her third season as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach for the Blazers.
 
Prior to Belhaven, Keri spent four seasons on staff at Morehead State. O'Neal provided many behind-the-scenes duties as a graduate assistant.

In her third season at Morehead State, O'Neal helped guide the Eagles to a 21-10 (11-5 Ohio Valley Conference) record under head coach Greg Todd. The Eagles reached the 20-win plateau for the seventh time in school history, resulting in the program's first ever appearance in the Women's National Invitation Tournament. 2016-17 also featured a nine-game winning streak – the second-longest in school history – and the team's first invitation to a national postseason tournament since 2009-10.

A native of Lafayette, Ga., O'Neal played two seasons at Martin Methodist (Tenn.) after transferring from Snead State (Ala.) Community College.
 
O'Neal was named First-Team All TranSouth Conference as a senior in 2012-13 when she averaged 9.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. She recorded eight double-doubles.
 
As a junior, O'Neal pulled in 9.7 rebounds per game, including 4.2 offensive boards to rank 11th in NAIA. She also scored 8.0 points per outing. O'Neal played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Snead State where she contributed 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 points per game as a sophomore.
 
O'Neal attended Lafayette High School, where she averaged 18.9 rebounds and 15.6 points as a senior.
 
She served as assistant coach at Snead State in 2013-14. O'Neal graduated from Martin Methodist in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Biology.
