Alisha Rayborn

Alisha Rayborn is in her fourth season with Belhaven as the Assistant Women’s Basketball coach.

Rayborn is a former Belhaven student-athlete, having wrapped up her collegiate playing career at Belhaven in the 2012-13 season. She started 28 games for the Blazers that season under Rusty Cram and then assistant and current Blazers head coach Steve Calder.

As the starting point guard her senior year, Rayborn averaged 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals, earning her Southern States Athletics Conference (SSAC) All-Division honors.

Prior to her time with Belahven, Rayborn attended Southwest Mississippi Community College, where she was a two-year starter, averaging 10 points and four assists per game.

Rayborn also holds previous positions in intramural sports programs at Belhaven University. Prior to joining the Blazers coaching staff, Rayborn served as a teacher in the McComb School District in her hometown. She also served as a Servant Leader in the Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools in Nashville, Tenn.

Rayborn received her Associate Degree in General Studies at Southwest Mississippi Community College and holds her Bachelor's Degree from Belhaven University in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science.
