Kasey Britt

Kasey Britt is entering her second year on the softball coaching staff at Belhaven University.
 
Kasey comes to Belhaven after spending five years at the University of Central Arkansas where she played softball four years and helped the team as a student assistant during her fifth year.  During her softball career at UCA, she was selected twice to the All-Southland Conference team and twice to the NFCA Division I All-South Region Team.  While splitting time between 1st base and outfield at UCA, she had a .320 career batting average which ranks ninth.  She ranks first in walks (69) and doubles (47), second in home runs (24) and RBI (126), and third in slugging percentage (.545), on-base percentage (.413) and runs scored (98).  She also ranks in the top five in seven single season categories.
 
A native of Richland, Mississippi, Kasey graduated from Richland High School where she was a three-time All-State Softball Team selection and played in the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star Fast Pitch game.
 
While at UCA, Kasey received a bachelor’s degree in Health Education.  She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Administration.
