Jordan Cole returns to Belhaven University in 2016 as an assistant coach for the Blazers Softball team. Cole will work with hitters and infielders, while also recruiting, under head coach Kevin Griffin.
 
The Douglasville, Georgia native started every game for the Blazers in 2013, hitting .286 with 38 hits, nine doubles and four homreuns. Cole had 17 RBIs and 36 runs scored. With 21 walks and 16 hit by pitches, Cole had an on base percentage of .441. She also had 14 sacrifice bunts and 14 stolen bases.
 
Following her career at Belhaven, Cole moved onto coaching at Mississippi College as a graduate assistant under Brooke O’Hair. She worked with the hitters and corner infielders and helped coach the Choctaws to a fourth place finish at the 2015 NCCAA World Series.
 
Prior to Belhaven, Cole played at Delta State, where she hit .283 with 34 hits, eight doubles, two triples, and three homeruns as a junior. She also led the team with a .423 on base percentage.
 
As a sophomore, Cole hit nine home runs and 12 doubles with a .320 batting average and a .543 slugging percentage.
 
Cole had 141 career hits, including 50 extra base hits. She finished her career with 17 home runs, 75 RBIs and 128 runs scored. Cole also had 43 walks and 56 hit by pitches, finishing with a .422 on base percentage. She also had 37 stolen bases in her career.
 
Cole graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine: Exercise Science from Belhaven in December of 2013. She is working towards her Master’s Degree in Applied Exercise Physiology at Mississippi College.
