Jody Chance is entering his first year as a Graduate Assistant for the Belhaven University's Men's and Women's Tennis teams.
Originally from Jackson, MS, Chance claimed one high school district champion title as well as two runner-up titles at Terry High School. Upon graduating, he joined the Belhaven University Tennis Program from 2002-2004. His mother is former Belhaven Tennis Coach and Assistant Athletics Director, Judy Chance. Chance continued his undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Dallas Baptist University in 2006. He has served several Christian ministries across the country and has just returned from a year in the Dominican Republic. Chance is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration degree at Belhaven University.

The things He taught me during my time here at Belhaven and during the last few years have given me an exciting vision for this team. Coach Patton, my former teammate, has worked hard to continue to build this program and he has done a great job. God has blessed my path since studying here at Belhaven and it is great to be back and have the opportunity to pour back into this team."
