    Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Michael McGeown enters his third season as an assistant men's soccer coach at Belhaven College. McGeown, a native of Portstewart , County Derry , Ireland played for UUC in Ireland before coming to the states to play for Itawamba Community College where he was the MVP. McGeown then arrived at Belhaven and played two seasons as a Blazer and was an NAIA All- Region 23 team selection in 2005.

As a captain of his college teams for all four years, McGeown brought great leadership to the team both on and off the field. After receiving his degree from Belhaven College, he became the assistant men’s soccer coach under the guidance of head coach Steve DeCou.
Michael McGeown has also coached at a number of top youth soccer clubs and high schools in the state and now coaches the Chicago Fire Juniors of Mississippi.

McGeown holds an IFA Advance Goalkeepers license, UEFA B license and a USSF C license.
