Belhaven University Athletics

Leo Summers enters his First season as the Graduate Assistant Coach for Belhaven University's men's soccer program after joining the staff ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Summers played collegiately at Copiah-Lincoln Community College (NJCAA), Tennessee Wesleyan University (NAIA), and Delta State University (NCAA Division II). A goalkeeper throughout his playing career, he brings extensive experience in the position and a strong passion for goalkeeper development.

Originally from Cornwall, England, Summers received a bachelor’s degree from Delta State in Sports Management. He Currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) D Coaching License. In addition to his role at Belhaven, he serves as a Goalkeeper Coach for Mississippi Rush Soccer Club, where he works with goalkeepers across multiple age groups to develop their technical ability, tactical understanding, and confidence.
