Belhaven University Athletics

Shannon Lubin is entering her first season as the Recruiting Graduate Assistant for the Belhaven Football program.

Lubin comes to Belhaven from Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in May 2016. Lubin excelled academically at Tiffin, finishing with a 3.9 GPA while earning the Tiffin University President’s Scholarship.

Lubin was a member of the Tiffin University women’s lacrosse team for four seasons, starting in 73 career games at defense for the Dragons. She was named team captain her senior season and led Tiffin to a 12-6 overall mark with a 10-2 record in conference play.

Lubin worked in the Tiffin University football office for three seasons. Some of her duties with the Dragons football program included creating file folders for recruits and entering player information into an online database, assisting coaches in daily tasks regarding current students and giving campus tours.

In addition, Lubin was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at Tiffin, acting as a liaison between the SAAC and the women’s lacrosse team while also voting on decisions regarding NCAA Division II athletics.
