Ryan Meyers is entering his second season as Quarterback Coach for the Blazers.
Meyers played quarterback for the Tulane Green Wave during the 2005 Katrina season, and transfered to Colgate University to finish his playing career.
Meyers joins Belhaven Football with a unique background, having worked simultaneously for commercial real estate company CBRE and NBC Sports.
Ryan had great success in both worlds, having won three Emmy Awards from his work on the 2012 Super Bowl, 2010 NFL Playoffs, and the 2009 season of Sunday Night Football, as well as landing on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Up and Comers List, which is the Tampa version of the Top 40 Under 40 List, at 26 years of age.
Meyers became a producer with for NBC’s Sunday Night Football during his senior year due to his football knowledge and reputation, which allowed him to earn his first Emmy award at 22 years old.
Meyers is a graduate of Colgate University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
