Nick Luckey is entering his fourth season on the coaching staff at Belhaven after spending the 2019 season as the Offensive Line Coach at Mississippi College.
Luckey has had a hand in a successful offense for the Blazers helped in large part by an offensive line that had multiple All-Conference honorees in the USA South and American Southwest Conference. Kendrioun Boatman was named to the First Team in Belhaven's first season in the USA South in 2022, while he and David Turner both earned an All-ASC First Team nod while Cole McAlpin was named to the All-ASC Second Team in the year prior. Turner also earned recognition by D3football.com having been named to the All-Region III Second Team Offense.
In 2022 Luckey's OL group paved the way for 3,052 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns, both program records in a single season. The unit also allowed just 10 sacks on the year.
Adding to the offensive line recognitions in the fall of 2021, the Blazers' o-line was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for two consecutive weeks, the first time that has happened in the history of the honor.
He was a two-year starter on the offensive line for the Choctaws from 2015-16. Prior to his time at MC, Luckey was an all-state performer at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and played his high school ball at Magee HS.
Luckey earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and received his Master's of Athletic Administration from Mississippi College.
