Maurice Stewart is entering his third season with the Blazers' staff and first as the Wide Receivers coach.
Prior to taking over the WR corp, Stewart was a part of a defensive coaching staff that saw six players garner All-ASC recognition in the fall of 2021, the second straight season that the BU defense has had six players recognized as all-conference. In 2022, five players were tabbed to the All-USA South teams.
Prior to joining the Belhaven coaching staff, Stewart was an Assistant Football Coach and Video Coordinator at Millsaps College where he oversaw Wide Receivers.
Stewart was a member of the Belhaven Football team for four seasons, from 2015-2018, where he was a standout defensive back, racking up 114 career tackles in 37 games played.
