Lee Simpson is entering his third year with the Belhaven Football program as the Director of Football Operations.
Simpson joins the Blazers from Mississippi State University where he spent the 2020-21 year as a Gameday Operation Graduate Assistant. Included in his role Simpson also oversaw SEC replay, umpires and visiting team operations for the Mississippi State Baseball team, the 2021 NCAA Division I National Champions.
Prior to his work as a graduate, Simpson worked with Mississippi State Gameday Operations as an undergraduate student.
Simpson graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration. He also holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Mississippi State.
Simpson is a Vicksburg, Mississippi native and is married to his wife, Anna Carol.
