Justin Sawyer enters his first season as the Defensive Line Coach at Belhaven University.
“I am very excited to have to opportunity to share my faith and coach the game I love here at Belhaven," said Sawyer. "This opportunity is truly a blessing to me and my family.”
Prior to arriving at Belhaven, Coach Sawyer spent time coaching at Tupelo Christian Preparatory School, Parklane Academy, Centreville Academy and North Pike. Sawyer played football for the University of Mississippi from 1999-2003 where he was a part of trhee bowl wins, Co-SEC Championships, and five winning seasons.
Coach Sawyer and his wife, Kim have been married for 6 years. They have two beautiful daughters Anna Claire (4) and Kaylee (6months).Sawyer completed his bachelors at the University of Mississippi and his masters from William Carey University.
