Emily Creech is in her fourth year in the Belhaven Athletic Department as the Director of Football Operations.
Creech joined Belhaven after working at McMurry University in multiple roles since 2010. She most recently served as an Athletics Academic Resources Coordinator at McMurry University, where she helped to develop the first athletics academic program at the university. The program worked with and counseled student-athletes from all 19 varsity sports, totaling more than 350 athletes.
While serving in the academic support role, Creech also implemented a new dance team at McMurry as the Spirit Teams Director. She also worked as an admission counselor and coordinator of special events after graduating from McMurry in December 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a minor in Spanish.
Creech was also a three-year starter on the McMurry soccer team, including two seasons as the team captain.
She completed her Master’s Degree in Sport Studies with an emphasis on Sport and Exercise Psychology from Lock Haven University.
In June 2015, Emily married Josh Creech, Defensive Coordinator for the Blazers. The couple resides in Jackson with their daughter Adelaide.
