Belhaven University Athletics

Dana Marsalis is in her 10th year with the Belhaven Blazers Athletic Department. She is in her eighth season as the Head Cheerleading Coach for the Blazers.

Marsalis started with Belhaven in 2006 and spent her first two years as Assistant to the Director of Athletics. Dana was then named Head Cheerleading Coach. Dana also served as the Director of Game Day Operations during her time at Belhaven. Dana has a wealth of collegiate experience in cheerleading.

Dana is an alumnus of Mississippi State University, where she majored in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. While at MSU, Dana served the Bulldog Athletics Department as an intern/volunteer; she assisted with game day operations, media relations and also interned with the Southeastern Conference assisting with media days.

Dana, her husband Russell, their son Jack, and daughter Jordan reside in Brandon, Miss.
