Spencer Wright enters his fourth year with Belhaven Athletics and third as Coordinator of Digital Media and Sports Information.
Wright joined Belhaven in August of 2022 as a Graduate Assistant for Athletics Communications and was elevated to his current role in February of 2023.
Wright oversees the digital media coverage of Belhaven Athletics, specifically with regards to social media, serving as the primary graphic designer for the department. Wright also assists with the statistics and record-keeping for Belhaven Athletics while also assisting with the broadcast of Belhaven's home athletic events in which he serves as a secondary voice for the Blazers' Sports Network.
Prior to joining Belhaven, Wright worked as a member of the Marketing and Promotions team for the Mississippi Braves, the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, in Pearl, Mississippi. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Wright covered the Bulldogs' Football, Men's Basketball and Baseball programs as a Contributor for the publication, Maroon and White Nation.
The Madison, Mississippi native graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Mississippi State University in December of 2021. Wright also graduated with a Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Administration from Belhaven in May of 2024.
Wright and his wife Rush reside in Madison, Mississippi.
