Prior to Southeast Arkansas College, Adams was the Director of Baseball Operations at Eastern Kentucky for the 2022-2023 academic year.Â
Adams served as the head baseball coach at Louisiana State University of Alexandria from 2016 to 2021. He also co-founded and was the director of operations and player development for the Team Louisiana summer baseball organization from 2011-20. In five seasons as head coach at LSU Alexandria, Adams compiled a 131-111 record and coached 14 players who went on to play professional baseball. He was named Conference Coach of the Year twice during that span.Â
Â
Adams has also worked as the head baseball coach at Vermilion Catholic High School (2013-16), as the associate head coach at Hutchinson Community College (2005-10) and as the head coach at Riverdale Academy (2003-05). From 2006 to 2010, Adams was a scout in the Cleveland Guardians organization.
Â
