Robbie Dombrowski

Robbie Dombrowski is in his first season on the Belhaven University coaching staff. Dombrowski serves as the hitting coach and catching coach for the Blazers.
 
A 2018 graduate from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, Dombrowski was a two-time captain for the St. Norbert baseball team. He spent 3 seasons as the starting catcher for the Green Knights, leading them to a Midwest Conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 2017.
 
In 2017, Dombrowski went 3-5 with 2 doubles and a home run in the conference championship game, including the game winning RBI double in the 9th inning. With the win, the Green Knights set a school record for wins, clinching the first 30 win season in school history. St. Norbert needed to win 3 elimination games in one day to clinch the championship, a day in which Dombrowski caught all 27 innings. He finished the season with a perfect fielding percentage in 38 games behind the plate, and threw out 34 percent of stolen base attempts.
 
Dombrowski was a member of the St. Norbert College Dean’s List 4 times and was selected to the to the Academic All-Midwest Conference team 3 times. He also was a two-year letter winner for the St. Norbert football team.
 
Prior to arriving at Belhaven, Dombrowski coached high school baseball for 4 years at Kettle Moraine High School in Wisconsin, where he served at his alma mater as the JV Head Coach for 3 years and Varsity Assistant for 4 years.
 
A native of Delafield, Wisconsin, Dombrowski graduated from St. Norbert College in 2018 with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Biopsychology and Communication. He is pursuing a graduate degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven.
