Belhaven University Athletics

Chase Lunceford is in his first season as Graduate Assistant coach for Belhaven’s Baseball program. Lunceford works primarily with catchers and is the hitting coach for the Blazers.

Lunceford played two seasons with the Hinds Community College Eagles and two seasons with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs as a third baseman.

Prior to arriving at Belhaven, Lunceford was the starting third baseman for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs  and posted .312 batting average and team highs in homeruns (11), RBIs (51), total bases (113), slugging percentage (.551), and total hits (64).

A native of Clinton Miss., Lunceford graduated from Louisiana Tech in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration. Lunceford is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration at Belhaven.
