Anthony Doss

Anthony Doss enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Blazers baseball program. Doss' main responsibilities include working with the Blazers hitters and outfielders, but he also assist with recruiting, the strength and conditioning program, and other various administrative tasks.

Doss is well-known in the Mississippi baseball world. Hailing from Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood, Mississippi, Doss landed multiple prep accolades including First Team All-Metro, First Team All-State, First Team All-American, and was named a Dandy Dozen his senior season.

Following high school, Doss was a two-year letterman at the University of Southern Mississippi before landing at Belhaven. As a Blazer, Doss was the anchor of a lineup that won the 2011 Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament, in which he was named the Most Valuable Player. In 2012, he was named First Team All-Conference in the SSAC, hitting .392 with 22 doubles, four triples, eight homeruns, and 49 runs batted in.

Doss graduated from Belhaven in December with a degree in Sports Administration. He is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration.
