Reid Roberts joins the Belhaven men's basketball program as an assistant coach following four seasons in various roles with NCAA Division I programs.

Roberts spent the 2025-26 season as an assistant coach at the University of Louisiana Monroe under head coach Phil Cunningham. He previously served two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Warhawks, working under longtime head coach Keith Richard in 2022-23 and again during Richard's final season in 2024-25.

Between his two stints at ULM, Roberts served as a graduate assistant with the University of Arkansas men's basketball program under head coach Eric Musselman during the 2023-24 season.

Roberts began his collegiate basketball career as a student manager at Florida International University, working with the Panthers for three seasons from 2019-22. He also spent the 2018-19 academic year with the University of Tampa athletics communications staff, assisting with men's basketball, women's soccer and volleyball. His duties included social media, graphic design and serving as a statistician for Tampa men's basketball.

In addition to his college athletics experience, Roberts worked on game-day communications staffs for the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins from 2019-22. He also worked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2017-18 season and served as a communications intern during the team's 2018 training camp.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Roberts graduated from Brookwood High School in 2017. He earned a bachelor's degree in recreation and sport management from Florida International in 2022 and his master's degree in Sport Management from the University of Arkansas in 2024.
