JACKSON, Miss. - Abby Jordan broke a scoreless match in the 73rd minute, and Addi Roberts made four saves as Belhaven defeated Asbury 1-0 Saturday at Belhaven Bowl Stadium. The Blazers remain atop the CCS with the conference's only perfect record at 4-0.

Asbury controlled much of the first half, outshooting Belhaven 10-2. Roberts kept the match level, stopping Eva De Sousa in the 15th minute and Audrey Estes in the 27th and 36th before turning away Bria Stiff's attempt at 38:30.

The Eagles took the first four shots after halftime but did not put another attempt on goal. Jordan entered at 69:20 and scored on a free kick just over three minutes later to give Belhaven the lead. Kinsey Carter forced a save moments after the goal, and Jordan put another shot on target in the final minute as the Blazers saw out the win.

Asbury finished with a 15-7 shot advantage, but Belhaven held a 4-2 edge in corners. Roberts played all 90 minutes for the Blazers' sixth shutout in 10 matches this season and their third in four CCS contests. Jordan took two shots, both on goal; Estes led Asbury with five attempts.

The defensive run continues a standard set by last year's CCS championship team, which recorded 13 shutouts in 22 matches. Saturday's result also came against the team Belhaven defeated 2-1 in the 2025 CCS Championship.

Belhaven travels to Huntingdon on Tuesday, Oct. 13, for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
